24 April 2015, Since April 2015, the Film and Publication Board has been hosting national public consultations on the Online Draft Regulation Policy for input. During the consultation in Cape Town this week, the FPB engaged with the Right 2 Know (R2K) Campaign as well as members of the public on the draft policy and is awaiting the campaign’s inputs.
The FPB is aware and acknowledges the R2K Gauteng Campaign’s planned protest to reject the Online Draft Regulation Policy on Wednesday 29 April. The FPB will be available to receive the petition from the R2K.
The FPB will continue with the public engagements for input on the policy, with the next one taking place in Limpopo.
