After following internal disciplinary processes, the Film and Publication Board has dismissed two employees who were found guilty of attempting to steal an unclassified porn DVD entitled “Bush Pie 3” by a local film maker.

The two employees were caught on the CCTV camera and were charged with theft, dishonesty and bringing the name of the FPB into disrepute.

“The incident is the first of its kind and FPB has security measures in place to prevent films and other media content from being stolen and illegally distributed”, said FPB CEO Themba Wakashe.

Mr. Wakashe has assured content distributors that such incidents will not be tolerated and that the FPB has put stringent measures to protect material that is brought in for classification.
