The Film and Publication Board (FPB) is a statutory body, with its main task being the classification of films, videos, DVDs, computer games and certain publications, including online content for their suitable age viewership. Our mission is to “ensure the regulation of media entertainment content by empowering the public, contributing to child protection and promoting the growth of industry”.
Classification Admin Assistant
(Fixed Term Contract for 7 months with no benefits – R 21 313.38 per month)
The Classification Admin Assistant is responsible to assist the Assistant Manager: Classification with administrative duties regarding the claims, Quality Assurance reports feedback to Classifiers, capturing and facilitating responses, administrating the database for classified material, supporting viewing rooms during classification sessions, logistical arrangement for training and workshops, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
- Matric and an applicable Diploma in Administration or relevant qualifications.
- 2 years’ work experience in office administration.
- Computer Literacy with proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Coordination skills
- Time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
